You can see why she is a bit of a rebel and you begin to understand her. Their is Tibby, the skinny rebel of the story. But as you go through the book, you see how she really is inside. There's Bridget, wild, outgoing, energetic and gorgeous. There's Carmen, the narrator in the prologue and the epilogue, she is known as the sensitive one, the caring one. They're all best friends but they're all so different which makes the story even more interesting! And they characters? They're brilliant! You can see exactly how their lives are now and how they were previously.

The author has written this book in a way that you feel what the character's are feeling, you sympathize with them, you empathize with them. This book is one of those books that when you've finished reading it, you just close your eyes, take a breath and think about what you've just read. And then the journey of the pants - and the most memorable summer of their lives - begins. Over a few bags of cheese puffs, they decide to form a sisterhood and take the vow of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
